The main business of OKK Koksovny, a. s. is the production of coke - a material indispensable not only to iron production, but also to numerous other industries. Our company produces coke from virtually all types of coal suitable for coking. Coal is sourced from OKD mines as wel as from abroad. We are pursuing our business in a field which has very good prospects. The prosperity of the field derives from dramatic growth in demand for metallurgical products and from explosive growth of developing world economies.
OKK Koksovny, a. s. is the largest European producer of foundry coke. Our foundry coke has long enjoyed a reputation as a top european quality product. OKK Koksovny, a. s., offers a broad assortment of coke types for foundry and metallurgical manufacturing, for special metallurgy, heating and other purposes. Our product range also includes chemical products from the high-temperature coal carbonisation that takes place during the coking process.
OKK Koksovny, a. s., is a prominent member of the Czech Cokemaking Society.
