Emergency and fire safety

Coke production cannot dispense with the open flame and the handling of inflammable and explosive substances. Besides accident prevention, operations of the plant require continuous readiness for any emergencies. The management of OKK Koksovny, a. s., does not underestimate in any way the issues of emergency and fire safety, as documented below:

• Existence of detailed emergency-prevention and fire-safety guidelines, principles and plans,
• Continuous monitoring of compliance with emergency and fire safety
• Existence of firefighting and evacuation plans
• Fire risk assessment for all relevant operations
• Continuous attention from the "Prevention Officers" at all units
• Existence of voluntary firefighting units at all workplaces capable of intervening 24/7
• comprehensive support given to the voluntary firefighting units by OKK management

• Oil emergency within the safety perimeter of MAN 100,000 m³ gas reservoir
