Reconstruction of the Benzol Distillation Column
The new distillation column ensures safer, more efficient, and more environmentally friendly benzol processing. Improved efficiency reduces energy consumption and the risk of harmful emissions.
Modernization of coke extinguishing for coke oven battery no. 9 and 10.
The installation of new internal structures and secondary extinguishing systems reduces particulate emissions during the coke extinguishing process. The modernization builds on proven solutions from previous investments and strengthens air protection.
Additional Dedusting of Coke oven battery no. 10
The implementation of dedusting at key production points significantly reduces the spread of dust particles into the surrounding area. This investment helps improve both the working environment and air quality inside and outside the facility.
Elimination of Benzol Odor
The installation of the Plazkat device has significantly reduced fugitive emissions of aromatic hydrocarbons into the surrounding environment. The plasma-catalytic process converts harmful substances into harmless compounds, improving air quality.
Modernization of Coke Grinding Equipment
By upgrading the filter and burner system, we reduce dust emissions and energy losses during coal processing. The upgrade ensures more environmentally friendly operations and enhances safety through reliable new equipment.
Modernization of the Deammoniation Station and Caustic Storage at the Ammonia Plant
Replacing the 37-year-old caustic tanks improves the safety and environmental stability of chemical operations. The new equipment minimizes leakage risks and ensures safer handling of chemicals.
Implementation of Energy-Efficient Investments
Investments in the modernization of blowers, transformers, and turbo-exhauster drives have significantly reduced the energy intensity of operations. As a result, up to 1,300 tons of CO₂ emissions are saved annually, helping the company mitigate climate impacts.
Modernization of Tubular Furnaces
The modified solution enables efficient and gentle pipe cleaning, extending equipment lifespan and reducing the environmental impact of maintenance.
Completion of the modernization of the ammonia absorber.
Completion of the modernization of filling arm during the loading of raw benzene and coal tar.
The nozzles and hydro-injection pumps were renewed (the occupying coke oven chambers).
New solid pollutant separators were replaced by filter units equipped with state-of-the-art filter fins, including a cleaning control system.
The aim of all these actions was to reduce the emissions produced in the production of coke.
Within the project “Automation of chemical production”, the management of selected technological processes was centralized. Changes in the installed technical and safety systems contribute to reducing the risk of major-accident and endanger the environment.
New solid pollutant separators with fabric filters were put into operation at coke grading plants as a replacement for wet level separators.
